More opera

Highlights of today were a nice catch-up, via Zoom, with Brent, then tonight I watched Britten's Gloriana. This has been made available on YouTube by the Royal Opera, I think until the end of May.

It's an interesting piece, with some extraordinary orchestral writing. The production,  by Richard Jones, sets the opera as performed in a village hall. Simon B. visible in the chorus.
